Sculptures and Pottery
Ronald Pope usually ‘signed’ his sculpture and pottery with a Pi symbol:
Sculpture
The Pi symbol can often be found stamped into the metal at the base, etched into a stone base, or somewhere on the sculpture itself. It can be very small – you may need a magnifying glass.
Unfortunately, some sculptures were not signed.
Pottery
The Pi symbol can usually be found on the underside.
Paintings
Paintings were often signed with the letter R followed by the year. For example:
